Weekly production Log 5 (23.02.2014)

This week we had no school so we planned to go to hackney to film most of  the scenes for the music video but there was a fire at the building which left us without a building. We also had a back up in case something we couldn't control like this happened, but it was sold and we couldn't use it.
This is a major problem as we now don't have a building to film a lot of the scenes at but luckily one of the group members said that she could see if we could film at her grandmother basement, if we are allowed to we should be able to film the shots with in a couple hours. This has knocked us off our schedule but with some hard work we can get back on it.
Next week we are going to be shooting some other shots including the cctv shots and the shots requiring the nurses, we need to do leaving us with the building shots left which we will do when we can meaning we are going to film after school and lastly we will be starting to edit what we've got so far as we go along. The shots we were going to do in hackney are 1 -1c, 6a, 71 - 9a, 10a, 10c - 12b, 25a -25b, 27a - 29a, 31a ,33a -34b,35b and 37a - 45a and the shots we have already completed are as followed ; 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d which really isn't a lot considering we have about 90 more shots to go.

Weekly production Log 4 (16.02.2014)

This week my group finally finished all the paper work for the music video and was allowed to film, we filmed shots 2a to 2d which was the scenes which Taylor is siting with Jada in a room as aria and the therapist as they talk, instead of them talking Taylor lip syncs the song and at the same time she switches seating positions. We also received a camera, a tripod and an sd card from out teacher to use over the holidays as we are off from school for a week. I contributed by filming each shot and after that we reviewed them and decided that they were good. This is perfect with the schedule as this is was when and what we were meant to do. The only problem i saw was that one of the group members could possible brake out in laughter while filming and this could be a problem if this persists, we can over come this by helping her to not brake out in laughter. another small problem was as we took the equipment off of school property there was a downfall of rain which could have broken the camera or the tripod. we overcame this obstacle by letting a the who lived closest to school take the equipment home with them. Next week we will be shooting the shots 1 -1c, 6a, 71 - 9a, 10a, 10c - 12b, 25a -25b, 27a - 29a, 31a ,33a -34b,35b and 37a - 45a, this will be done on tuesday and will take us about 3 to 4 hours to complete, this will also be the only day we will be shooting in the holiday and we will do this in hackney.

Location Reccies & Permission to Film

Job roles


Actress Looking at Herself in the MirrorTaylor will be the main character in the music video playing 'Aria', the female who will be going crazy as part of the story.She was chosen to play the lead as she is able to act crazy and therefore would be a perfect match for Aria. Taylor will also be the producer as well, the producer will also be in charge of supervising the whole music video.








Anthony will be chief cameraman, as he has been in many productions before hand and knows the most about cameras. He is also in charge for looking after the camera and the tripod and if it goes missing, all the responsibility would be on him, He has a steady hand which will be good for filming shots. He also is the CCTV monitor, who will watch Aria as she goes crazy and escapes.He was they only male in our group and is reliable.








Jada will be the psychiatrist, in the music video for a couple of scenes, she was chosen to do this as she is the last person in the group who is not in the video yet, she is a good listener, she will also be the director and the main editor of the video. The video was her idea and she knows what scenes she will want to keep and what scenes she will want to delete.

Weekly production Log 3 (09.02.14)

This week, Me and my group completed the shooting script, we finished this on Wednesday and got up to
93 shots, even though the minimum was 100 but Mr. Mallen our teacher is allowed us to leave it at 93 as there were no more shots we could add. I contributed to the group by typing up the risk assessment which would talk about possible risks for us while filming like being robbed or being hurt by the equipment there wasn't that many as we couldn't think of anything. This fitted in production schedule as we are on track. this week there was one slight problem as one of the group member was away as she had tonsillitis and was off the whole week, also there was a problem about us going to Tudor road in hackney as 2 of us we skeptical of going as it is dangerous with the gangs and such, but we found out that we to. Lastly we were a bit questionable about the what we needed and what we had, we needed to use the ict room but we not be allowed in the room as its for the ict moderators, if we cant use that room we decided to use a computer in the study room as it looked like a CCTV room but the ict room looked better as it had 3 computers which seemed like i was watching everyone instead of this one person.It was OK that one of us wasn't for reasons we couldn't control.Our plans for next week are to finish the Risk Assessment Form and the call sheet.

Weekly production Log 2 (02.02.2014)

This week I worked with my group to create the shooting script, and got up to 50 shots on Friday and planned to do the at least 15 over the weekend. On Monday the third we have to be at 75 shots to keep up to date and finish on that day, I contributed by adding more shots, and typing on Wednesday, as a group member was ill at the time, she recovered though and returned the very next day, I also found a way to implement my original idea of my music video being in black and white in the music video my group is doing. So far the group seems like we're on schedule and is working well. The only problem I see is that the events that happen in the music video are already ahead of schedule, as we are on the 2nd verse and are almost at the end of the basic story, to fix this we can just add more ideas in at the start which make aria (Taylor) seem more crazy another thing that could be a possible problem is that the ideas for make aria seem crazy are all from horror movies which could change the music video make the movie seem more like a horror/thriller than just her being crazy, but this can be fixed by using ideas from a movie about a crazy person and basing ideas about then and recreating them for our music video.
Our plans for next week is to finish the script, proof read it, show it to Mr Mallen, have him check it over and give us feedback on it and fix it based on the feedback and then start planning the filming.
